The X-Files (3.6 million/0.9 rating) had a lot of hype before its return, but it seems that viewers are not enjoying the latest event series.

After that, 9-1-1 (6.1 million/1.6 rating) continued to pull in solid ratings and topped the night in the demo.
NBC: The Blacklist (6.2 million/1.1 rating) was steady, while Law & Order: SVU (5.6 million/1.3 rating) and Chicago PD (6.7 million/1.2 rating) each ticked down.
The CW: Riverdale (1.4 million/0.5 rating) and Dynasty (0.6 million/0.2 rating) were both steady.
CBS: The Amazing Race (6.5 million/1.2 rating), SEAL Team (6.6 million/1.0 rating) and Criminal Minds (5.4 million/1.0 rating) were on par with their season averages.
