Riverdale Round Table: Hiram's New Apprentice

Hiram refused Veronica's business deal to create a casino, The Black Hood ambushed the town debate and shot into the crowd, and Fangs was accused of Midge's death on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20.

Below, TV Fanatics Jack Ori, Paul Dailly, and Justin Carreiro debate Hiram's manipulation of Reggie, Hal Cooper potentially being The Black Hood, and Cheryl's odds of survival against the serial killer.

Riverdale Round Table 660px

1. Hermione and Hiram used Veronica to get close to the sons of crime families, but Hiram dismissed any deals Veronica sealed. Why was he quick to shut it all down?

Jack: I think Hiram was using Veronica to try to distract his enemies and see if hes could be used as bait to lure them into some sort of trap to sabotage their business. He never planned to do anything beyond pimp Veronica out, and definitely didn't expect her to rebel.

Paul: I agree with Jack. Veronica has proven time and time again that she's a force to be reckoned with, so it was bizarre that Hiram never thought she would find a way to get the upper hand.

Justin: This entire plot was so confusing to watch because they were so keen on rebuilding their alliances, but the crime families would be even angrier if they felt used. Hiram only wanted to wait Veronica's time and keep her busy to check out his prospects with the other families.

Hermione For Mayor - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20

2. The Black Hood opened fire into the crowd during the debate. Do you think it was warning shots or was he truly planning to kill Fred?

Jack: I don't think he planned to kill Fred. I think this attack might have been a copycat hired by Hiram to drive home the point that people need to vote for Hermione to protect their safety.

Paul: It seemed to me that it was warning shots. The killer wanted to be taken seriously more than anything.

Justin: Since we were told no one got hurt, it had to be warning shots. Though, I agree with Jack that this attack could've been a stunt set up by Hiram and Hermione to push the town over the edge.

3. Reggie was planning to shoot Fangs before Archie tackled him due to Hiram's manipulation. Share your thoughts on this new alliance.

Jack: Hiram once again has proven he has no loyalty to Archie whatsoever. He had no qualms about manipulating Archie into reforming the Dark Circle and then paying them off to do his bidding in order to make Fred look bad while sticking it to the Southsiders.

I hope Archie is really done with Hiram and isn't going to continue working for him while Veronica takes Fred's side.

Paul: After Reggie appeared, it was obvious what he was going to do. The alliance made sense. Hiram has been trying to get his own way all along and with Archie not being the perfect little protege, it was only a matter of time before he turned to someone else.

Justin: Hiram is the type of manipulator who goes after the easiest course of action. Reggie was ripe for control and he could push him to do whatever he needed as compared to Archie who started turning against him. It's frustrating that the characters continue to fall to Hiram's will.

Moderator - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20

4. Cheryl and Betty's investigation into Hal dug up a lot of clues that connected him to The Black Hood. Do you think he's involved in the crimes?

Jack: I'm not sure. It's too obvious and he was present when The Black Hood (if that's who that really was) shot up the town hall. But, this is the same show that ruled out FP as Charles' father and then made him the father the next week, so anything is possible.

Related: Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20 Review: Chapter Thirty-Three: Shadow of a Doubt

Paul: I've questioned Hal for a while now, but it all seems a little too easy. There's also the fact that the person opening fire in the town hall was definitely not Hal.

Justin: I think he could be an accomplice and helping The Black Hood, but I don't think he's the main killer. It would be too obvious for Hal to be the killer.

Coffee Time - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20

5. Fangs got shot after the town assumed he killed Midge. React!

Jack: I was so saddened and shocked. I was expecting someone closer to Archie to have got shot by mistake, like Jughead maybe. I also felt like this whole thing showed that even though people are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, Fangs was convicted in the court of public opinion and lost his life because of it.

Paul: I thought he was getting away, so this shocked me to the core. Poor Fangs. This town is never going to be the same again.

Justin: I'm devastated that Fangs got murdered! Even though his death was caused by a town mob, I think it could have the reverse effect and pull people back from the brink. Once they realize he was an innocent teen, the mass hysteria will subside and turn against Hiram/Hermione.

Cousin Confidant - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20

6. The Black Hood appeared at Cheryl's doorway. Could she potentially be the next victim?

Jack: I'm sure that's the intention, but I think Cheryl will fight him off. She's the toughest one out of the entire group of main characters!

Related: Riverdale Promo: Will Cheryl Survive?

Paul: Cheryl is strong, and she will find a way to overpower the villain. What was most surprising about it was that he knocked the door instead of finding a way in.

Justin: Firstly, I think Cheryl will survive. And secondly, I don't think that's The Black Hood! I bet that Penelope and Claudius concocted some plan to use The Black Hood as a red-herring to try and kill Cheryl to get her fortune. The Black Hood didn't want to kill her before, so I think this has to be someone else.

RuPaul's Drag Race: 13 Favorite Moments From 'Snatch Game'

The Maxi Challenge we've all been waiting for is finally here! The queens got dressed up as their celebrity personalities for Snatch Game on RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 Episode 7.

Similar to the 'Reading Is Fundamental' and musical challenges, the Snatch Game is a staple of the RuPaul's Drag Race series. The celebrity role pushes the queens to think on their feet, show off their acting skills and add humor to everything they do. If you can't make RuPaul laugh, you will never win the season! (And darling, that's a fact.)

Aquaria portrayed first lady Melanie Trump, Asia O'Hara as Beyonce, Eureka O'Hara as Honey Boo Boo, Monet X Change was Maya Angelou, Kameron Michaels was the late pro-wrestler Chyna Doll, Monique Heart was Maxine Waters, MIz Cracker was Dorothy Parker, and The Vixen was Blue Ivy Carter. But who failed to impressed on stage?

Monique Heart and The Vixen landed in the bottom two. And, after a shocking lip sync that kept going wrong, Monique Heart was asked to sashay away.

Also appearing in 'Snatch Game' was the return of an iconic Mini Challenge, a former RuPaul's Drag Race winner visited the Werk Room, and RuPaul broke character to warn one of the queens.

Below, we picked out 13 moments from 'Snatch Game' that kept us laughing during each answer. What was your favorite moment of the night?

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 airs Thursdays on VH1 at 8/7c.

13. Alex Trebek Surprise Cameo

Alex trebek rupauls drag race s10e7
Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race come from every walk of life, but it was surprising to see Jeopardy host Alex Trebek appear during the Snatch Game. He always seemed like a serious and professional guy, but he likes the drama and drag queens like the rest of us.

12. No Personality

No personality rupauls drag race s10e7
During the 'Reading Is Fundamental' Mini Challenge, Eureka O'Hara threw a few fun barbs out at Aquaria and her less than bright personality. Aquaria may be a look queen, but she took all the jokes in stride. She was having fun with the zingers sent her way.

11. "She Got A Fatty Acid"

Fatty acid rupauls drag race s10e7
Whenever the judges throw out a funny one-liner during the runways, you know they're living for that moment. We love it, they love it, and the laughs keep on coming. Michelle Visage had the wittiest line of the night when she threw out the fatty acid quip at Monique Heart. It worked perfectly since it was a mermaid/fish theme.

10. Mermaid Barbie

Mermaid barbie rupauls drag race s10e7
Miz Cracker's mermaid look on the runway suited her brand and felt like a character she would wear during one of her shows. It was pink, plastic and totally fantastic!

9. Biance Del Rio

Bianca del rio rupauls drag race
One of the legends has arrived! RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 winner Bianca Del Rio is known for her quick wit, her humor and the character she performed during her Snatch Game. She is one of the queens currently killing it in the real world with jobs and appearances. Before the biggest and most memorable competition of the series, this comedy queen was the perfect surprise visit to the Werk Room to help the queens prepare.

8. Miss Vanjie (Part 7)

Return of miss vanjie rupauls drag race s10e7
Vanessa Vanjie might've been eliminated first, but her legacy lives on as a meme. For the seventh time in a row, a 'Miss Vanjie' reference has popped up, but this time it was on the runway. We got a closer look into why the jokes makes all the judges break out into life. And all we could say was, 'Same!"

Riverdale Promo: Will Cheryl Survive?

Cheryl Blossom is joining the ranks of proud scream queens before her. The Black Hood has officially become her own personal horror movie villain on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 21.

An ax, a scream and a barricade are all we see of our favorite River Vixen queen bee as she tries to avoid becoming The Black Hood's next victim.

After the jaw-dropping cliffhanger on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20, Cheryl's fate was left up in the air. Would she survive the attack? Why was the serial killer there in the first place? Is she doomed to die like her brother?

Cheryl can't be murdered! But, the way that ax collided with the door, she could become the new star of The Shining if she doesn't get away in time.

Tensions are also rising between the Southside Serpents and the Northside. However, these two volatile groups might find shared ground and band together over a common enemy.

Based on the trailer, FP and Jughead are worried because the Ghoulies (their rival gang) has returned to Riverdale with a vengeance! And, from the few clips we see, The Black Hood isn't the only villain with an ax to grind.

Related: Get Shudder via Prime Video Channels for Spine-Tingling & Provocative Films, TV Series, & Originals!

Cars on fire, glass being shattered, and groups of people ready to fight to the death are some of the clips ramping up the drama. The Ghoulies want blood against the group that betrayed them. Unlike the petty town fights we've seen before, the Ghoulies are vicious and cruel.

Plus, they've got an ally that is adding plenty of fuel: Penny Peabody is back!

The snake charmer is grinning with pure joy and malice over the destruction she's causing. What did she tell the Ghoulies? How did she get involved with them?

Penny is just as dangerous as the Ghoulies. This battle could be fought (and won) over fire and blood.

Why does Hermione have a gun?!

The current mayoral candidate is frantic to protect herself over an unknown enemy. After we see her warning Alice and Betty about The Black Hood being on the loose, the quick clips we see of Hermione next show the threads of her scheme unraveling around her.

What did Hermione get herself involved in? Who is she pointing the gun at?

With The Black Hood hunting down sinners, she could potentially be a target. The killer did ambush her mayoral debate, after all.

Riverdale Promo: A Very Dangerous Game

Betty is playing with fire ... and she's about to get burned. Her shaky alliance with The Black Hood is coming back to haunt her on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20.

She allowed the serial killer to go after the guy who lied about being her brother on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19. And her actions have consequences since a body has already been found. (If the victim is Chic, The Black Hood caught up fast!)

But, could her troubles only get worse from here?

We see our favorite girl-next-door break down over her recent 'Dark Betty' actions.

From the look of the trailer, she's upset over being an accomplice to The Black Hood. She handed the killer a potential victim. Sure, it was a lying murderer who killed her brother, but it was still a person. Betty looks wracked with guilt.

Her distant cousin Cheryl is by her side for support, but even she seems worried about Betty Cooper. We can hear her warning someone (Betty?) about playing a dangerous game. And we have more cause to be worried.

Betty is seen holding the black mask and a handgun. What does she have planned?

Betty isn't the only one worried about The Black Hood. The town of Riverdale is descending into madness over the death of Midge.

A new vigilante group, 'The Black Circle,' has emerged to enact justice and their first target seems to be Fangs Fogarty.

There was some suspicious behavior between Midge and the Southside Serpent during Riverdale Season 2 Episode 18. That moment caught on camera has led to fights at Riverdale High and Fangs pleading for his innocence. Unfortunately, we see him behind bars in the promo.

Did he kill Midge or is it a red-herring?

Fangs is going to have to prove everyone he's a good guy. Fred Andrews is in the same boat as well. The mayoral candidate had received a note that he's the next target of The Black Hood.

Riverdale Round Table: Veronica Saves The Day

Nick St. Clair kidnapped Archie as revenge against Veronica, Cheryl wrote a scathing editorial about Sheriff Keller, and Chic's real identity was revealed on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19.

Below, TV Fanatics Jack Ori, Paul Dailly, and Justin Carreiro debate Betty giving up Chic to The Black Hood, the true fate of Charles Cooper, and Archie's motivations after surviving the kidnapping.

Riverdale Round Table 660px

1. Veronica went against her parents' wishes to defeat Nick St. Clair and save Archie. Could this be the point where she turns against her family?

Jack: It certainly seems so, and with good reason. Archie has been nothing but loyal to Hiram and the Lodges did nothing to help him. The thing is, though, I think she expected Archie to be angry too and instead he became more ruthless in his determination to get Hiram's approval.

Paul: I agree. I love that the writers are going this route with the character. She was great in all of her scenes and it was pretty obvious she was not sleeping with Nick. She had revenge in mind.

Justin: I think so. She's been siding with Hiram and Hermione for so long, but she did so with the caveat that Archie would be safe and protected from the family business. Now that he was put in danger, and that her family did NOTHING to help him, she must realize now that they're the villains and she can't work with them.

Pay Day - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19

2. Chic wasn't really Charles Cooper and he killed him. React!

Jack: I wasn't surprised once it was all revealed. It made sense given the fact that Chic was violent and weird. I felt so bad for Alice.

Paul: I was surprised. I feel like this plot should have been resolved sooner, but I'm glad that Chic is finally out of the picture. Alice must feel awful right about now.

Related: Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19 Review: Chapter Thirty-Two: Prisoners

Justin: This revelation blew me away because like Paul said, I expected this type of reveal to have happened much sooner. Betty and Chic had a shared darkness, so I thought they were siblings. But, it made sense since the entire family is completely different than him beyond that evil.

Watch Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19 Online

3. Sheriff Keller quit his post after a public outcry. Was the town right to place the blame on him?

Jack: Yes and no. Certainly he should have done more to keep everyone safe, whether or not he expected The Black Hood to be resurrected. But, he had very incomplete info since people kept hiding communications with The Black Hood from him and as far as he knew, the guy was dead.

Paul: I don't think he did enough to keep everyone safe, so there needed to be a change or else people would have lost faith in the law.

Justin: Like I said in the review for Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19, I felt bad for him because he shouldn't have received all the blame. However, it's quite telling when a group of teenagers were the ones to constantly solve his biggest crimes. He's not doing his job and he's not experienced enough to be the sheriff.

Black Trenchcoats - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19

4. After being kidnapped and tortured by Nick, Archie wants to earn his bones by killing The Black Hood. Share your initial thoughts on the kidnapping/his murder mission.

Jack: I really hated this story. I thought that one way or the other Nick was just making things worse for himself and that it could have been more easily solved by Veronica recording the conversation at Pop's where Nick demanded she sleeps with him and going to the authorities.

Plus, it was over-the-top violent, and no one but Veronica seemed to be concerned that Archie had disappeared. And then Archie gets home and instead of being at all angry at the whole world for not caring that he was gone, he decides that the thing to do is become a murderer too. Ugh.

Related: Riverdale Season 2 Episode 18 Review: Chapter Thirty-One: A Night To Remember

Paul: Yeah, this plot with Nick returning was bizarre. I get him wanting revenge, but it's silly that he went to such extreme measures to carry it out. Archie has proven that he's not great at hiding things, so it will be fun to see how much hanging around with Hiram has increased his skill set for deception.

Justin: Archie is an idiot! Instead of turning away from the two people who abandoned him and left him to die, he decides to get in deeper with them and kill someone to get their respect.

He's going to get himself killed or arrested. And, Nick made a simple plan of revenge more complicated than it should've been. He's terrible at being a mob boss.

Mightier Than The Pen - Riverdale

5. FP was revealed as Charles' real birth father after Alice previously said he wasn't. Were you surprised at all, even after the red-herring?

Jack: Not really. Who else could it be? This was one of those reveals that I think was supposed to be dramatic but wasn't.

Paul: Nope. It was obvious all season long. Somehow, I thought we already knew the truth.

Justin: No. Though, I'm more frustrated than surprised because Riverdale had ruled out the possibility and led us astray. Red-herrings are great in mystery novels, but openly lying simply to hide an obvious conclusion was a tad tacky.

Stern - Riverdale Season 2 Episode 19

6. Betty let The Black Hood go after Chic as his next victim. Do you think Chic survived the run?

Jack: Probably, because it makes better drama for him to pop up again just as well think he's gone for good. At least we know now that Chic is not The Black Hood since he couldn't be in two places at once, though.

Paul: Betty is playing with fire. But Chic likely survived. Jack's right, he'll pop back up sometime around Riverdale Season 7 when the show is running out of storylines.

Related: Get CBS All Access via Prime Video Channels for Hit Shows, Exclusive Originals & Live TV!

Justin: Am I the only one who thinks he got killed? Chic's storyline got resolved pretty easily. And unless he comes back to kill the Coopers, he has no reason to return. I could see the real Charles Cooper return in the future for a lacking plot pool, but Chic most likely is dead.

Shadowhunters Promo: Mark of Destruction

Maia is having the worst day ever. From her shocked expression in the trailer for Shadowhunters Season 3 Episode 7, she just came face-to-face with the last person she ever wanted to see again. Awkward!

We know little about Maia's past, except for that she's from New Jersey and she got infected by her boyfriend with the werewolf curse. He disappeared and she stopped trusting people. That moment was what drove her to New York City.

Though, it seems he might be coming back into her life.

Simon's new roommate Kyle looks to be the mysterious ex-boyfriend.

Based on the trailer, we see a quick flashback memory of Maia and Kyle kissing in a car together. Maia's hair is much longer in the scene, so that moment had to have happened years before ever meeting Simon.

From the look on her face, and Kyle's face, neither had planned to see each other any time soon. Even Kyle, who is all-knowing and a member of the Praetor Lupus, didn't plan on reuniting with his ex. She looks blown away and devastated over his return.

Will this cause more trouble for Maia's relationship? Will these two bury the hatchet?

Speaking of reunions, Clary and Jace are having an uncomfortable meeting. Now that it's been revealed he's the owl demon, all she wants to do is save her boyfriend.

Unfortunately for her, Jace has no love for his (ex)girlfriend. (Curse you, Lilith and your potion!)

We see Clary trying to reason with Jace and remind him of their love for each other. Her tactic obviously fails as he proclaims that he doesn't love her at all and he throws her off a roof.

Will she survive the fall?
