ABC is following in CBS's footsteps in airing an alternative to the Winter Olympics.
The network debuted The Bachelor: Winter Games last night, and the new series failed to garner a substantial crowd.
The spinoff secured just 3 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the all-important 18-49 demo.
NBC’s coverage of the PyeongChang games averaged an eye-popping 20.1 million viewers and a 5.2 rating. That was enough to top the night.
Over on The CW, Black Lightning (1.8 million/0.5 rating) pulled in its smallest demo tally yet, but it was just one tenth off last Tuesday's performance.
Through five weeks, the new series is averaging 2 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in live + same day measures.
It ranks as The CW's second highest rated series. It will be back for Season 2 if it holds up for the second half of the season.
