What 'Supergirl' Keeps Getting Wrong with Male Villains

Supergirl has come a long way since its first season. The show has introduced a whole host of heroes, including an appearance by Superman. Kara has gone from uncertain and lacking in confidence to the self-reliant hero her city needs. Supergirl has even switched networks from CBS to The CW and backed itself into the Arrow-verse in the process. No matter how many ways Supergirl has evolved, one problem has remained consistent from the very beginning, The male villains are unbearably terrible to watch.
