Tilly (Alice) is the Guardian that everyone has been searching for on Once Upon a Time. "The Guardian" delved into Rumple's desire for an end to his immortality and his desperation to rejoin Belle. Before the curse, he believed that Alice was the Guardian and tested her to confirm. Once he was sure, he had Alice take the dagger. However, at the last minute, he took the dagger back from her because he wanted to save her from a life of immortality.
