The S.W.A.T. episode "Patrol" begins with the team's monthly "Patrol Day." And they're psyched. Mumford asked for Chris to be his patrol partner, which she's not that happy about. Jessica, meanwhile, recruits Luca and Deacon to work with at-risk youth for the day.
Hondo, though, has taken a personal day. He's actually out helping his step-sister Bree move their sick dad to L.A. The problem? Their dad doesn't want to move. Bree still wants him to move, but Hondo wants to leave him alone. But they reminisce about how he fought for civil rights, and taught them about music and cooking. Hondo apologizes for dumping everything on her and agrees to go see their dad.
