With the fifth episode behind us, the American Idol season 16 auditions are now done and over with. The night of Thursday, January 21, 2016, we thought we were watching the last-ever audition episode for the greatest singing competition show ever.
But the last couple weeks have brought five more audition episodes. We probably won't know until the upfronts in May whether or not we'll get to see this iconic first round again next year, but for now, it's been a joy to watch these reboot auditions -- the highs, the lows and everything in between, including some fantastic talent and the chemistry between the judges.
