Power is one of the most popular shows for a number of reasons.
It makes sense then that Starz would be looking to extend the franchise for longer because, well, you don't get rid of your most popular show unless the cast and creative team are ready to end it.
The premium cable network released an official statement to confirm production had concluded on the upcoming season, but that wasn't the only big reveal from the press release.
“As Power wraps production on Season 5, we want to acknowledge and thank our spectacular Power team for producing another great season,” Starz programming president Carmi Zlotnik said.

“We are also pleased to announce a pick-up for Season 6.”
Yes, Power Fanatics! Two seasons are heading your way. Power Season 5 will bow on Starz Sunday, July 1.
Power Season 4 secured 9.3 million viewers across all platforms and ranks as the network's most-watched and highest-rated series.
It follows Ghost, the owner of a trendy NYC nightclub, who is stuck in a world of crime and drugs. If you watch Power online, you will know the series is one of the most shocking around.

Okay, Power Fanatics. What do you think of this latest news?
