This episode of Black Lightning episode, titled "The Book of Little Black Lies," is all about trust. Jennifer completely loses her trust in her parents when she finally learns her family's secrets. Gambi, meanwhile, struggles to regain the Pierces' trust after the truth about his past finally came out.
"The Book of Little Black Lies" begins with Jefferson boxing his way through his feelings about Gambi's revelations. Let's just say, he is not handling Gambi's lies and the fact that he can't be Black Lightning right now well.
